On feeling dumb

I saw this article: here, linked to on a reddit thread: here for the comments. It talks about feeling like a fraud when you receive praise and why one might feel that way. I think it makes a nice point, but the unimaginative use of profanity detracts a bit.


  1. It's good to know I am not dangerous even if I am a pretty dumb.

  2. Can't help thinking of Rumsfeld during that article. Just shows how "dangerous" unknown unknowns can be. Oops!

    I don't get it... Can you give an example of something we don't know we don't know?

    ...right now the contents of my pocket have just became a known unknown for you, ten seconds ago it was an unknown unknown.
